The Jackpine is a tree that can grow almost anywhere in the world. It is resilient, regenerating only after forest fires. It has a basic form, yes, but grows to any shape that suits the light, suits the winds, suits itself.

  • I am currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Pluralistic Therapy and Counselling. My aim, once my studies are complete, is to combine the work on the Menstrual Cycle with the work of therapy. For me, Menstrual Cycle Awareness is a missing layer of context in the therapy room for those of us who cycle. Without it, we are missing out on a whole dimension of learning about ourselves, exploring our inner knowing and doing work of healing.

  • I have been working with my cycle for the past 7 years. It has informed how I live my life, how I work, rest and make sense of my wellbeing.

    I have studied Menstruality Awareness and Leadership with pioneering teachers Alexandra Pope and Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer, the creators of Red School and the authors of Wild Power and Wise Power.

    I am an accredited Menstruality Mentor with Red School and a qualified, insured Yoga Teacher trained in Restorative, Yin, Flow, and Yoga Nidra.

    I have worked as a Graphic Designer but am currently studying for a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

    I live cyclically in the Scottish Perthshire Highlands, sailing on my boat Yellow Matilda, wild swimming or pottering around the Glens.
